The reason I am asking is that I am doing research on Union dead at Fairfax Courthouse and Cross Keys is quite a distance from the Courthouse area to take a deceased soldier. I know that group was stationed at both places around that time period, and I was just wondering if he left Fairfax Courthouse and was sick or wounded and then died at Cross Keys.
