Have you seen the latest dialogue on Facebook?
Apparently our Philip is not a Gijberti. His birth records were found and his father Pieter is not from Paulus/Hester.

Question: Your site shows Philips marriage to Helena Key in 1780, and divorce in PA same year. Am I right on that?

Terry

Hoodenpyle family (various spellings)

I am looking for all and any Hoodenpyle families. I'd like to put together a book or pamphlet containing the various lines descendant from Phillip Gysberti Hoodenpyle and his wife Jane Ronceville. I have the infomation from Aletha Rogers, Bill Hoodenpyle, and others including my own research. I thought it would be great to put it all together for all of us cousins! It would also be great to try to organize another Hoodenpyle reunion. I don't think there has been one for quite a while.
At the very least, I'd like to touch base with all of you who are searching the same family lines. My direct ancestor was Thomas Jefferson Hoodenpyle, son of Philip Gysberti Hoodenpyle. Look forward to seeing you on this board or email at overcbrat@aol.com

Hi, I am looking into descendants of Robert L & Ella Hoodenpyle from Tenn. They had a son Edgar who married Margarete, the census (1930) showed Robert & Edgar were in Ala working as coal miners but we know they went back to Tenn.
Can't find anything in the Hoodenpyle Cemetary's for Robert or Ella. Edgar died in Lake Placid Fl. in 1978 and his ashes were supposed to have been placed on his parents head stones in Tenn.?

William and Pearl (Ware) Hoodenpyle

My father, Carl, who was born in 1917, was the youngest child of William and Pearl. William was originally from Tennessee. He married Pearl (I believe in Oklahoma where she was from) and they moved to California. By the time Daddy was born, they lived in Texhoma. Daddy's siblings were Big Sis (can't remember her first name but she married a man by the name of Carl Streiber), John, Barnette, Alma, and Albert (Abe). His siblings raised Daddy.

First name unknown. You may already know this and you may have found his wife's family too??
