I am married to John Coulthurst Holroyd and have been fairly succesfull with tracing the Holroyd's up to Joseph and Ellen Holroyd. Now I come to a dead end.
Our line below that goes as follows:
Joseph Holroyd ( 1834-1896) married to Nancy Ann Coulthurst (1847- 1891) second wife of 3
Joseph Coulthurst Holroyd ( 1894 - 1955) married to Ellen Lowe (1853- 19??) born in Pontefract and later lived and died in Porto, Portugal
Giles Coulthurst Holroyd 1909 - 1989) married to Joan Kathleen Ellis ( 1915 - 2006 )

I would love to hear from anyone who is in the same line and has got further than I have so far.
