We are researching my husband's Holloway line and it's been difficult with the small amount of info we had. My husband, George Raymond Holloway's dad and mom were Louie or Louis Lacy Holloway b abt 1900 Georgia, USA d 1948 Palm Beach, Florida, USA at the hospital in Palm Beach. He taken by ambulance due to Rattlesnake bite on his farm in Jupitor , Florida. We knew Louie's mom was Hennie and had NO info on his dad. We pd for a copy of death certificate and his mom and dad are named. Dad-Jake Holloway 1899-1907 and Mom-Hennie Baker Holloway 1883-1962, Louie married my husband's mom in 1929, Hari Harry Harriet Albertina Tina Romer Holloway. He divorced Hari in 1939 and married Lois Mae Farnell Green with 2 sons. Louie and his brother Fred were raised by Hennie and her second husband John Locke Elmore 1907-1985.' They raised Louie and Fred along with 2 other sons Johnny Roy and Vernon Richard (Dickie) Elmore. We would love to find more info about the Jake Holloway line in Georgia.
