I found that his parents were Harriss (sp) (born 1813) and Nancy Holleman according to the death record for his son, Joseph Abner Jr. According to the death record, they were also born in NC. I found a pedigree on familysearch.org that listed Henry Holleman as Harris's father. I cannot find much else as far as siblings or more about his parents. His death record states he was born in Duplin Co., but his daughter Thelma's death certificate says Wayne Co. He is buried in Delgado Cemetary in New Hanover Co., NC. My husband is a decendant of Marion Franklin Holleman. I would love to know more about your lineage. Maybe it will help to find out more about where Harris and Nancy came from.
