My grandfather, William Curtis Hollis, b.1893-d.1968, moved from Anderson, Lauderdale County, Alabama, to East Texas around the turn of the century. He married Martha Jane "Mattie" Jeffcoat, and they lived in Evadale, Jasper County, and Spurger, Tyler County, TX. He had a sister, Icie (sp?) Burgess, who lived in Corsicana. She had a daughter, Emily, who married a Stokes. He also had a brother, Joe Hollis, who lived and worked (as a barber) in Newton, Jasper County, TX. This is all I know about his family.

I am looking for any information about family connections in Alabama or Texas.
