Charles Marvin Hollis, 92, Clarksville, died Saturday, April 14, 2007, at home.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at McReynolds-Nave and Larson Chapel with the Rev. Paul Tramel officiating.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 11 a.m. to time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hollis was born August 29, 1914 in Montgomery County, the son of the late Ervin Hollis and Martha Appleton Hollis.
He retired from Civil Service at Fort Campbell, was a Air Force Veteran of WWII, and attended Forrest St. United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife Christine Simmons Hollis; a son Phillip Hollis and his wife Debbie of Clarksville; a daughter Sandra Caldwell and her husband Joe of Marietta, Ga.; a brother E.J. Hollis of Henrietta; a sister Darlene Sheppard of Clarksville; grandchildren Matt Hollis, Lindsey Hollis, Craig Caldwell, and Ryan Caldwell; and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Grandsons and Nephews .
