Thank you for your info. I'm not sure if we have the same two folks. My John was born 1856. He was the son of John. John and Mary had 11 children. Herbert, the oldest was born Jan. 22, 1876, so the marriage date you gave me works. John & Mary had: Herbert, Arthur, Maria, Ada, Lily, John, Gertrude, Bertha, Hannah, Harry, Amos.

Herbert married Ada Mycock. Ada was born in Newcastle. They had 3 children Lily, Samuel & Albert. Lily was born in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire.

Lily married Joseph Hulme in Central Falls, Providence Co., Rhode Island, May 22, 1920, after disembarking the ship she sailed on.

Lily's brothers and parents eventually all came to Rhode Island.
