Thanks for the info. I have been stuck for quite some time. I go off on another line untill I get stuck there, and find myself back at my Hollinshead line. I have also been researching my HULME line. My grandmother Lily Hollinshead married Joseph Hulme. He was from the Ashton-under-Lyne area. They had met at a victory dance following WW1. Joseph had been living for a short time in US, but had returned to England for a visit. Lily followed Joseph to the US, and they were married in Rhode Island. All of Joseph's siblings except one went to Rhode Island. A sister went with her husband and his family to Australia. His parents had been bringing Joseph back a forth between the US and England; eventually they stayed in the US. Lily's siblings and her parents followed her to the US.
