Samuel Holliman 1760-70 - 1850 Columbia Co, GA-I found on a website somewhere his wife was Sarah Rees (1768-1830/34) but have not worked with it to prove/disprove. His 2nd wife, not my ancestor, was Salome McArthur. I know there was a Sarah Holliman, daughter of Hugh Rees who left a Will in Columbia Co, GA 1826. While I have not worked with this family to prove or disprove a connection to me, I feel this Sarah would be too young to be the wife of Samuel (or at least the mother of Lewis). If his wife was Sarah Rees, it is doubtful in my mind at this point that she was the daughter of Hugh Rees.
Son of Samuel and first wife was:
Lewis H. Holliman 1792- Columbia Co, GA-1853 Upson Co, GA and wife Sarah Farr
