@landonramsay - I think you missed a generation - Joe C Holiman was the son of Joshua C Holiman and Rachel A Martin. Joshua C Holiman was the son of Cornelius Holiman and Elizabeth Plyler (Pliler). I have some additional info on these lines. Rachel A Martin's father is John Martin... reportedly Choctaw by someone in an Ancestry.com post.
