Surnames:
I should say which branch I am referring to. My husband's ggrandfather is Henry Delano Holaday (1860-1924). Henry was the son of George Meacham Holaday (1818-about 1900). Next was William Holaday (1750-1812), then Henry Holladay (about 1725-1800).
