Re: Searching for descendants of Wenzel and Mary Holak of Vernon County, Wisconsin

Wenzel and Mary Holak and children, arrived December 29, 1854 in New York City, on the ship Meta. They are listed under "Hatak" if you do a search. This is a correction to my first posted message.

Mary Holak married Joseph Barta, on July 12, 1855 in Richland County, Wisconsin. I found this on the familysearch.org web site.

Searching for descendants of Wenzel and Mary Holak of Vernon County, Wisconsin

Wenzel and Mary Holak appear to have arrived in the United States in 1858 and settled in Union Township of Vernon County (then Bad Ax) Wisconsin. They arrived with their three children: Mary Holak married Joseph M. Barta, (the last information I could find was the family had moved to Lacrosse, Wisconsin); Thomas Holak married Mary Machacek and they with, many of their children lived in the Vernon County area; and Anna Holak married Martin Slama, also living in the Vernon and Richland County area.
