This is interesting information. I've tried to put Uranie in all of the families we know of descended from Thomas, and she simply doesn't fit. She would have probably been a spouse of a third generation Hoffpauir descendant of Thomas (based on her age). There are some male 3rd gen Hoffpauir who I don't have a spouse for, so that might be where she fits. I'll continue to look at this.... maybe the notation about the half brother will provide some clue. Looking at Hebert's CD, there are no instances of Roger and Elinor together, but 23 instances of Elinor, and all are either first or second names, so presumably roger is the surname of the half brother. The only instance of roger and uranie together is a female, born in 1886.
Looking at Nicholas and Uranie together give me this entry from the CD:

HOFFPAUIR, Nicholas (Eugene & Uranie HOFFPAUIR) m. 28 March 1894 Noelie DOMINGUE (Laf. Ch.: v.7, p. 125)

Looking at what I have for Nicholas Hoffpauir I find his parents listed as Ephraim Hoffpauir, Jr. and Julianne Joffrion. although it doesn't look to be the same, perhaps it is. I have Julianne's birth as estimated as 1846, but I have her as died in 1876.
