I just today learned of the death of Bob Williams, on 15 March 2009. Bob, along with Bonnie Hoffpauir Rives (also deceased) was involved with me in my early studies of Hoffpauir genealogy, and very helpful in sorting out the old "family stories" facts from fiction. Although I'd not corresponded with Bob in several years, really not much since Bonnie passed away in 2000, I still fondly remember the times we spent pondering the many questions we had about our ancestry, and the joy when someone discovered some previously unknown bit of information.
Bob's Mother was a Faulk, and like most Faulks, Bob had a lot of Hoffpauirs in his pedigree. Our most recent common ancestor was Arleaze Faulk, his great-great-grandmother,and one of my great-grandmothers.
