Well, I continue to search to find out where my 3rd great grandfather, Jacob Hoffman (abt 1801-1867) was born and who his parents may have been. He married Elizabeth Frazier in 1828 and was living in Lancaster Co., PA at the time. They are buried in the Churchtown United Methodist Church Cemetery in Caernarvon, Lancaster, Pennsylvania. They had 10 children to the best of my knowledge, including the eldest, Jacob Hoffman (1829-1910) who is my 2nd great grandfather and whom married Catharine Arters (1838-1905). The younger Jacob lived and died in Caernarvon, Lancaster, Pennsylvania and is also buried in the Churchtown United Methodist Church Cemetery. Any leads appreciated.
