I, too, am looking for Hofbauers who immigrated to Minnesota. Joseph and Anna Hofbauer lived in Brockway, Sterns County, Minnesota. Franz and Maria lived next door. They had children Franz and Maria. I'm trying to make a connection. Both came from Austria. I'm guessing in the early 1860s.
