Hello all,

I recall several years ago when I searched for "Hockin" on the web, I found 7 hits, 3 of which were mine.
It is amazing how many Hockins have crawled out of the woodwork!

Here is my story:
My father was John Hockin (the 13th). His father was John the 12th. His father was Henry Valentine Hockin.
My father came from Bristol, UK, with lineage that originates in Phillack, Cornwall.

I have a family tree that has entries back to the year 1270.

I'd love to share stories or learn new data with anyone out there. I'm currently living in northern California, in case anyone is local.
I know Dave Hockin's web site - I contributed my tree, and I visited Phillack with him a couple years ago. While we haven't found our tree-link yet,
I saw a picture of his father, and it is SHOCKING how much he resembles my father.
