Well, I don't know my great grandfather's name my grandfather was Arnel Hobley. My grand mother was Daisy Hobley, my uncles and aunts are/were Jasper, Alice, Earnest, Shelly, Liffort Wayne, Geneva Hobley.
There are a few more in California that I have never met, Liffort Wayne was a football player for the Miami Dolphins during the 1980s. Some of my cousins are/were Josette, Wayne, Veronica, Daisy, John, Brenda, Alice, Earnest Lee. There are more but I can't remeber we have been out of touch for some years.
If you know of any of these people pleaselet me know and give me some more information. I know that there is a Trac Hobley here in Houston that used to work for SWBT company that I 'm supposed to be related to. Liffort Hobley, the exfootball player, and I have made contact several times. Once at my mother's funeral in Kansas City, at my home in Maryland, in Miami before a cruise, etc.

We are not sure of the family relationship between us. However, with a rare name like Hobley and with the same first names, from the same places, and Liffort looks likes one of my brother's name Rodney Hobley. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure that there must be some family tie somewhere in our family tree. I met Liffort I believe through Billy Ray Hobley ( the ex- basketball player for the Harlem Globetrotters). Billy Ray attended my grandmother's funeral and been to my home serveral times.
