I am looking for information on Abraham Hobler who came to the US around 1715 with his wife, daughter and 6 year old son. The ship was originally destined for New York but landed in Philadelphia. The Hoblers traveled to Morris County, New Jersey (known as German Valley). I believe the name somehow was transformed to Hopler. The Hoplers (Hoblers) were among the original settlers of Pequannock, New Jersey as reasearched by the town historian. Your thoughts?
