Glen Jean- Basil E. Hobbs, 43, of Glen Jean, Fayette County, died Monday in Oak Hill Hospital.
Surviving: wife, Ruth; brothers Loren of Mount Hope, David of Chicago, Robert of Gastonia, N.C.; sisters, Cora E. Canterbury of Elgin, Ill., Mrs. Reba Massey of Lebanon, Tenn., Mrs. Stella Smith of Oak Hill, Mrs. Dorothy Cain of Mentor, Ohio, Mrs. Mary Lucus of Normal, Ill.
Services will be 2 p.m. today in Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope, with the Rev. Ralph Wells and the Rev. Ernest Barley officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
