My father was Howard Bernard Hoad. (~1920 - 1981)
He had a brother - Warwick Hoad & sister Monica.

Their father was Harold Fiegal(?) Hoad. Died about 1966 about 60 - 65 yo.
They all lived in Melb. throughout their lives.

Warrick.
I don't have your father on the tree.
I knew that there are Hoads in Victoria but have not traced the line yet. Have you been or are you tracing your Hoad family Tree ?
The Hoads I have were 3 brothers coming to Australia in the 1850's George, John, William and Henry Hoad. 2 went to Tumut, N. S. W., and one to W.A., and the other to Carcoar, N. S. W. I have put a tree together and am trying to piece the rest of it from any source I can find. I have bits and pieces and don't know where they fit. can you connect to any of these ?

Thanks for your reply.
The little info I have is some old notes.
Starting with me
My father was Howard Bernard Hoad (11/3/21 - 1981) Their parents were Theresa Mary Doyle & Harold (Feigel Fiegal etc) Hoad (about 1900 - 1966) They had three children Howard, Warwick & Monica
Harolds sisters were Hazel, Stella & Nell. His parents were (apparently) Cecilia Feigal (or Fiegal/Feigel/etc) & Harry Hoad. Cecilia's parents were apparently Penrose & Feigal
I'm pretty sure at least Harold & his sisters were all born in Melbourne.
Hope this is helpful
Keep in touch

I am researching George Hoad born about 1900 and married to Mary Newnham. George was the son of William Hoad who was married to Ellen Stanton. I believe George was born in Walcha, NSW. Any connection?

I'm of Victorian (Australian) Hoad stock. I have a William Charles born abt 1866 in Melb. But I cant find any further record of him in Victoria. There seems to be about 3 separate Hoad families in Melb in the late 1800's. All my Hoad rello's are Victorian - I suspect that Thomas came from England.

I have all my Hoads in a picture flowsheet format. I've attached a copy - Let me know if it doesnt come out & I'll send you a copy to your your email address. (I plan to post this picture & others form my tree on the internet soon)
Regards
