I have read your message and am wondering if you have any connections to Sweden, otherwise since all my line originated and mostly stayed in Sweden, I see no connection. Please reply. Thanks,,,melperner@yahoo.com

Good to meet you. My grandfather´s last name was Hjort, from the Danish side. Hjort isnt such a common last name so its always good to hear of others with the name.

Cheers,
Cousin haha

Hi Thomas:
Well, thanks for the note,,,but no we would undoubtedly not be related as I have no connections that I know of at all from or through Denmark...the only was would be me. My husband and I traveled there back in 1985 that is the only connection, but yes, this is fun. Exasperating at times when others in the family don't respond or care, but still a lot of fun, and sometimes a great addiction...Good Luck...Melanie
