Recently I attended an estate sale and among other things I acquired a box of old photos, newspaper clippings and other memorabilia. Some of the photos are labeled, many are not. The ones with names all pertain to the George W Hirst family that lived in Umatilla County, Oregon from about the early 1900’s to the 60’s. I have found them in the census records in Umatilla as well as in Philadelphia, PA in the 1870’s & 80’s.
Here is a listing of the picture labels – all handwritten and on the backs of the photos. A few of them have a photographer’s studio printed on them – in those cases I have noted the city. Please let me know if these are your family – I would be happy to send the pictures to you.
