Johannes HIPPEL, born of Joseph and --, born 6/6/1793; bapt 10/27/1793; sponsors Ludwig Bantzler and wife Thamar.

It is my belief and Ludwig and wife Tammar Bantlzer is Lewis Ludwig and Tammar (Evans) Sponsler/Ponsler. Is there a connection between the Hippel's and Sponsler's?

Ludwig Bantzler and wife Thamar are my Ancestors. Do you see any relationship between them and Johannes Hippel.

I am a descendant of Lewis Ludwig and Tammar Evans Bantzler, Ponlser, Sponlser.

I have nothing on Joseph HIPPLE with a son Johannes born in 1793, that Ludwig and Thamar BANTZLER sponsored. I don't even know if he is part of the HIPPLE lines that were mainly in Chester Co or not.

I sent the baptism to the board, because it is unusual that there is a HIPPEL in Berks Co! In fact, that is the only baptism of that name at Schwartzwald Reformed for any HIPPEL/HIPPLE up to 1800.

If the son was born in 1793, then his father Joseph would be born at least bef. 1773. I haven't seen a Joseph in that time period, even in Chester Co!

Maybe someone else has more info? Sorry I have no further information.
