Surnames: Hinkel/Hinkle, Thompson, Glenn. Pearson
I have a follow up question. I got the attached photo from a cousin. It lists the Hinkel line. It is a bit hard to decipher, but what it says is John's mother was Ann(a) Glenn, Ann(a)'s father was Robert Glenn. John's father was Jacob Hinkel. It goes on to say Jacob's father was another Jacob. This was written by a decedent years ago, but we haven't been able to confirm where Jacob and Anna are buried, or what their birth dates may be. We don't believe we are related to Jacob and Suzanna Felix, as their genealogy seems well documented.

The only other major clue is the same cousin who sent this to me says we can be traced back to the Revolutionary War. We have cousins who belomg to DAR through the Hinkle/Hinkle line. The only Hinkel/Hinkle I found in the RW was a Phillip.

Does anyone know about these elusive Hinkels, especially the two Jacobs?

Oh, Elizabeth Thompson was John's wife. Her parents were Geoffrey Thompson and a woman with the last name Pearson.
