Looking for info on William Frederick Hinkle (could be spelled Hinkel as well) He was born in 1908 -death date unknown

His parents were Jacob Jeffry Hinkel (1878-1943) and Bessie Schreffler (1887-1918)

Siblings: George Jacob (1910-1988)
Dorothy (About 1909-2002
Ruth (1911-1985)
Alyce (1917-1997)

After Bessie's death, the children were placed with family/friends, except my grandfather who was placed in n orphanage.

I am looking for William's location and any info on him after 1918.

The family was originally from Northumberland County, Pennsylvania and he lived in PA most, if not all his life.

He was a police officer in his adult life.


The Surname could be spelled either Hinkel or Hinkle. My grandfather spelled it Hinkle. My great grandfather spelled it Hinkel.

Any help will be appreciated.
