Hello there!
I have a Frank Hines Sr and Frank Jr Hines of Texas and Iowa.
The father is from Texas, and his son Frank Hines from Iowa.
Frank SR Hines died 1948 around January...of pneunmonia and gangrene of the foot. Frank Hines was married to my grandmother Hines, Essie Veda Hines. They had five children;Frank Jr, Essie Mae, Fayrene, Charles, Delores....they were all brought up God fearing, clean, disciplined children. There father worked during the depression times, and worked hard in the rastaurant business to provide for his family. He was a moderate drinker, but was very faithful and devoted to his family. He particpated in all their growing ways...and wasn't afraid to play with them and wrestle a bit. Mother grew up being somewhat spoiled by her father...and a little beyound her years in the area of studying children...and learning some deep ways how to take care of herself, and others...including her mother...being a middle child, she saw an opportunity to be a caretaker of the two youngest children...as her mother grew tired and exhausted at times...sewing and trying to keep her home functioning.
God fearing mother, Essie was faithful and happy with her family. Mother was looking for a Pat Murphy, a cousin of theirs who wrote often to keep in touch...with this family, as he had adopted this family as his own..as his age...and career was the service.Of whom we cannot find??
