These are from the PA Archives web site, so the records are in PA, but is recorded as "Virginia lands,"specifically Nelson Co, VA.
4 Feb 1788 Patentees: Dunlap, John and Michael Hillegas, assignees of John Hawkins, 28,000 acres (wow!) Warantees John Dunlap & Michael Hillegas.
Another entry, same date, 5,000 acres Patentees: Dunlap, John and Michael Hillegas assignees of Paul Seimon. Warentee is Michael Hillegas.
