Harold Franklin Hiles, 88, of Imperial Beach died Nov. 9. He was born in Washington Court House, Ohio, and worked as a civil service aerospace engineer technician. He served in the Navy and was a member of the VFW in Imperial Beach. Survivors include his wife, Gladys Hiles; daughter, Terri Seeijer of Orange; sons, Daniel Hiles of Costa Mesa, John Hiles of Chula Vista and Victor Hiles of Cornville, Ariz.; brother, Donald Hiles of Long Beach; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
