I have Word write-ups on both Edward B. Hilbun and Elias B Hilbun. Both men often went by E. B. Hilbun.

Edward Baker Hilbun married Tulita E Pickins 23 July 1876 Red River Ph. LA. Edward was in Hood Co. TX by 1880 and in Granbury TX by 1881. He worked mostly as a bank teller. He died and is buried in Hood Co. TX. The Word write up has more.

Elias B. Hilbun married Matilda Brantly 27 Feb 1853 Bienville LA. Matilda (Brantly) Hilbun was the sister of my g-grandmother Adelaide Brantly that married 1)David W. Hilbun in Bienville Ph LA & had grandfather Joseph H Hilbun. Adelaide married 2) Adam C. Tilley and had Thomas J Tilley.

To add to the confusion a descendant of Elias B. Hilbun is buried in Hood Co. TX
