I am looking for more information on the parents, other possible children, and wives of Solomon Hicks Sr. who was born in North Carolina, for sure in October, 1826. He was listed as living in Holgate, Henry, Ohio in 1880 with his two sons. He is listed as being 66 years old, meaning he was born in 1813-1814, but I don't find this likely as two other sources say otherwise. I don't have any definitive proof as to who his wife is, but it may be a woman by the name of Cordilla Beard. I am fairly confident that Solomon died May 22, 1913 in Hartwick, Osceola, Michigan. His birthday is listed October 20, 1826 in North Carolina. His father is listed as James Hicks. The informant is a Sol Hicks from Evart, Osceola, Michigan. I know that Solomon Jr. lived in Evart.

William Hicks was born in April of 1855, in Ohio. He married Alice Dillon and had three children, Crystal, Ralph, and Lawrence. He died June 12, 1913 in North Baltimore, Wood, Ohio after falling off of a train.

Solomon Hicks Jr. was born on August 31, 1863 in Belmont Co, Ohio. He married Agnes Robinson and had at least seven children, Mary, Otis, Pheba, Albert, Viola, Richard and Burr. He died September 17, 1946 in Evart, Osceola, Michigan.
