Yes, supposedly we are also related to Walter Hickel, but I have not yet made the actual connection. I have always been told he was one of my grandfather's brother's children, but so far have not come up with any names.

I don't recall any mention of a Claud Hickel in my family research. I will ask my aunt who is my source of info on all of this to see if she has any recollection. (There are many Hickel's still in Barton County, by the way) Do you know who Claud's parents might be? Or siblings? If you had another name he is related to, I might be able to link him somewhere in my line.
