I am looking for information on Joseph Hiatt's family. I don't have much information on him. I know he married Lydia Smith. They had a son named Lewis Ulysses Hiatt, and William.

Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks, Kyla.

How far back are you researching? I have Joseph Hiatt 1732, Joseph Abraham Hiatt 1804. I am decended from his daughter Mary A. My early Hiatts were Quaker. Joseph Abraham was disowned by the Quaker Church. Then moved to Indiana. Mary A Hiatt Grissom moved to Illinois along with brother Silas.

Just picked this line up in online research. My great grandfather was Lewis Ulysses Hiatt. My grandmother (his daughter) was Violet. I've heard stories that great grandfather did softshoe in chataqua shows and worked for the railroad. Have a typed autobiography of Alfred Hiatt (my great Uncle) about the family homesteading in Canada and just saw that his wife Helen Josephine(?) passed away this September.

Hello, Janet, this would make us cousins. Alfred was my great uncle as well, Lydia, was my Grandmother, (Jody who has replied on here, is my direct cousin) who is your parent? I have our direct Hiatt line to John Hiatt 1764-1745(about) England his wife, Mary Smith (1677-1745). If you have any information, I would LOVE to maybe fill in some gaps!
PS we are having a family reunion summer of 2015 if your interested! 😊
