Is anyone researching the De La Hay, La Hey, Heys, etc in Winden, Germany? I'm descended from a De La Hay family from Winden and have recently started piecing together the family. MY De La Hay's married into the Petillion family. The Petillions were French Huguenots who eventually ended up in Winden. I believe the De La Hay's were also French Huguenots, but I haven't been able to trace my family further back from Winden. The surname De La Hay has several variations. My immigrant ancestor used the form Hey which eventually changed to Hoy after immigrating to the United States. If you are researching this family, please contact me.
