May I say a big hello from a cold and wet England.

My sister and I have not been doing our family tree for long and I came across your thread to Philip Rayner and his Mum Mildred to whom we are related through your Grandmother Elizabeth Cook and Grandfather George Hewson.

Our Grandfather (our Dad Edwards dad) was George Robert Cook (Jnr) - brother to Elizabeth, Charles and Herbert (Philips Grandfather, Mildreds Dad).

We seem to remember, we think back in the late 1970's early 1980's, a gentleman called Roy and his son Royston (tall and with blonde hair) visited our house in Carshalton, Surrey to visit my Dad from Canada - would this have been your Dad and Brother?

It would be lovely to hear from you and learn more about our relatives who left England at a young age to live in a foreign country. We have tried the address Philip has in Eerie Avenue Brantford Ontario but with no luck or response.
