Classification: Query
Surnames: Hewer, Avery, Warner
John Brunson Avery (bapt. Quenington 27 Sept 1798) and Hannah Hewer (probably bapt. Fulbrook, Oxon. 16 Nov 1792) had four children:
William Robert Avery m1. Emma Hewinson/Hewenson; m2. Sarah Merrett/Merritt - lived in Coventry, Kidderminster and Stroud; William was a miller. Descendants also lived in Manchester, Birmingham, possibly Isle of Wight, Swindon, Stroud, Horsley, and New Plymouth, New Zealand.
Jane Margaret Avery - probably died as an infant
Charles Avery m. Elizabeth Cooper - emigrated to Auckland, New Zealand, Charles was a miller.
Henry Frederick Avery m. Elizabeth Lugg - emigrated to Pennsylvania, USA, Henry was a farmer.

Hannah Hewer's parents might be William and Jane Hewer (Jane possibly nee Warner), who had children Edward Hewer, Ann Hewer, Elizabeth Hewer, Henry Hewer, Mary Hewer, William Hewer, Hester Hewer, Hannah Hewer, Charles Hewer, Maria Hewer and John Hewer in Fulbrook, Oxfordshire, possibly in Burford, Oxfordshire and in Coates, Gloucestershire between ~1779 to ~1798.

However, these Anne Hewers are also possible: Anne Hewer bapt. in Quenington 10 November 1793, to parents Charles and Mary Hewer - their two other daughters Sarah Hewer, bapt. Quenington 30 May 1784, and Mary Hewer, bapt. 3 May 1789. Another Anne Hewer bapt. in Stratton 3 May 1801, to parents Henry and Mary Hewer, with children in Stratton - Elizabeth Hewer baptised on the same day as Anne, and Jasper Hewer, bapt. 1 July 1789

John Brunson Avery was convicted of forgery and transported to Van Diemen's Land (later Tasmania), dying there 11 August 1843.

John Brunson Avery's parents are Robert Avery and Jane Blunsden; Robert Avery was a miller in Quenington Mill, Quenington, Gloucestershire, England.
