I have come across a few things that I want to throw out in hopes that it is an opening in my line for Joseph Hewell and Rebecca Lipscomb. I think our Rebecca had a brother named Baker Lipscomb.

http://www.lawrencecountyohio.com/families/q_z/rucker.htm Any evidence that the Willis family was related to Barnabas Lipscomb (died about 1809) of New Kent County, Virginia, and Wilkes County, Georgia. Who was Barnabas’ wife? He left two children, Rebecca Lipscomb (born about 1795 or earlier) and Baker Lipsbomb (born 1797).
The line could look like this if true.
Barnabas Lipscomb (father of Rebecca and Baker)
Birth 1740 in Caroline, King William, VA
Death abt 1809 or 1801 in Wilkes County, Georgia.
is the son of
Benjamin Lipscomb
Birth 1710 in King William, Virginia, USA
Death 1783 in Amelia, Virginia, USA
who is the son of
Ambrose Lipscomb
1680 – 1714
Mary Gissedge
1681 – 1714
Any thoughts?
Thanks for your help.
