Last week just found the family in the 1851 Liverpool, Lancashire, England census (mis-enumerated surname as ESTHAN, instead of HESTON, you can hear the similarity when you say it), which helps me fill in the family. Here's the specifics on the family:

The researcher said the Hastings surname was particularly strong around Drummin in Aughaval and Cushlough in Aghagower, so that's my assumption (and that Bridget was in Aughaval as the bride's parish where the marriage took place). I finally located this on the map just due south of Westport off N59. If anyone is familiar with the area I'd appreciate hearing about it.
