Kevin,

I don't think I can be of much help on your kin. I don't have a fit for her in my records. However I am confident that any combination of Histon/Heston/Hestin is appropriate, or the anglicized version, Hastings, as I've seen it done in my own line. The early County Mayo have it as Heston, but as they traveled to Liverpool (about 1848) it alternated between Heston and Hastings, finally settling on Hastings as they came to the States in 1855, and even for the son they left behind in Liverpool.

As for definite links, if you ever find a brother, and male descendency for Margaret, I'd love to start doing Y-DNA studies on the various branches going back to Ireland and see if we can truly establish kinship.

Thanks,
Michael
