Hi! Thankyou for your reply. Took me by surprise to see my brother's name. Anyhow...my father's name was "Rawling Eugene Hersey" My mother was Eleanor C. Hersey. My father's mother's name was Minnie. I don't know his father's name. My father has (had) a brother named Taylor. I can't find him either. He contacted us once in the sixties to say that he had done some kind of a family search only to find out that we had some Indian blood in our past. My brother Brad has been missing since 1970. The F.B.I. was looking for him cause he dodged the draft and then when the amnesty thing came into effect, we all thought that he would come out of hiding, but nothing. There have been supposed sightings of him in Mississippi. Our other brother Bob lives in West Virginia. My brother David lives on Cape Cod. We are in Massachusetts.
There are a slew of Hersey's on Cape Cod right now...and none of them are related to my family. We were the only ones here in the 50's and 60's.
Thankyou again for your reply and I would look forward to any help you can give. If not, thankyou for the attempt!!

Wether I am interested in joining I would like to gather the info in the event that my daughters wish to join. also in Mass, cheryl

Hi,

Brad's father's name is Rawling Hersey. I don't know his mother's name (different than my mom). Brad grew up and married a woman by the name of Rose and had 3 to 5 kids. Then he escaped the draft and went to Canada. I don't know if he returned with amnesty. Some people around Cape Cod said that they have seen him. I have never seen him but then again, would I even recognize him now. He was pretty badly treated as a kid so his incentive to know "ME" as a stepsister would not be that great. My mother was a non-discrimintating abuser. . I just wish I could tell him that I love him. Always did,,,always will. He would be near 60 now I think. I am 54 now.
