George Washington Hensley and Susan Davis were my great -great grand parents. Their daughter Susan Hensley Hicks Smith was my great grandmother. Susan Hicks Smith married Antony Smith
( could have been Schmidt) Antony came to Texas via Galveston about 1850 for Prussia Germany
They married around 1868 and had my grand mother Lucy Ann Smith Patterson in 9-1-1869
My father James S. Patterson was Lucy and Robert Patterson's youngest son . She lived with James till around 1949 then she went to live with my aunt Sarah Jane Patterson Hilburn. I have very fond memories of Lucy . She was a loving mother to 13 children 20 grandchildren and 50 Great grand children. My second child was her 50 great grand child she lived to see before her death in 1959
