Some sources show Henry married Mary Elizabeth Halen only, some show he married Barbara Angel only, and some show he married both. Those that show both disagree as to the order of marriages. Some show Barbara was the first and some show Mary Elizabeth was first.

Regarding children; some show children by both marriages, some show children by only Barbara, and some show children by Mary Elizabeth only.

Can anyone clear this up with some degree of certainty? Was my 5th great grandmother Barbara or was she Mary Elizabeth?

How many wives did Henry (Harry) Hensley have? I have now found another source showing his marriage to three women: Mary Elizabeth in 1771 with 5 children, Mary Elliot in 1778 with 4 children, and Barbara Angel in 1787 with 5 children.
