He was born in 12-25-1920. His parents were from Starobin, Belarus. His father's name was Boris Shklyar ( 1888 ) and his mother's name was Hay Krewitskay ( 1888 ). His mother had a sister, Rivka ( or Raisa or Raika ) Krevitskay. She moved to USA in 1918-1920 and married an amercan man ( don't know the name ). I belive, she had two sons. One of them was Peter and he was in US NAVY during WW2. If some of these sounds close, please let me know. I believe he is an author from New York. I lost contact with him but he has the most comprehensive background on the Henkin's. He has gone back 500 years to spain. It seems that we are all related, at least the east cost Henkin's but I preume all of are distant cousins. We got ran out of Spain during the Inquisition and went to Holland. In Holland we appearently learned ship building. The ship building took us to Russia to build ships for Alexander the Great.
