Hi Deborah, thanks again for making contact, I have sent an email to your email address. John Henry had 9 children in total and I am descended from the eldest, Matthew. I haven't found much on John Henry's early life but apparently was born in or around Albany, NY. His parents were listed as living in Bethlehem in 1830 - John Henry apparently born 15 Feb 1831. There may be baptism records in Dutch churches since these Hendrickson are of Dutch heritage. Good luck with your searching, I can help with any other information if you like!
