Hi,

I've been looking at this family recently, and have a thought about all the children in the household. I've seen that the last five or so children have been assigned to Mary J Hembree and her various liaisons and husbands. If one assumes that everyone is the household up to and including Solomon are the children of Lewis and Phoebe, I think that:

the first Lewis is Lewis Gentry, belonging to Mary J;
Nancy is Nancy Perkins, belongs to Mary J;
Lewis J is Lewis Jefferson Blair, belonging to Rachel Hembree Blair;
Martha J is also a Blair belonging to Rachel;
Steven M belongs to Mary J, middle name possibly Marion?;
William is William Riley Perkins, belongs to Mary J.

Has anyone found death certificates for any of these people?

There is a grave in Yocum Pond Cemetery for Mary Jane McGuire, who some show is the final resting place of Mary Jane Hembree, b 1839. Does anyone have any more information? She was supposed to have married last Jesse Calvin McGuire, but I can't find the marriage. Some show Mary Jane as dying in 1901. Too many questions!

I know there are lots of people out there who are more knowledgable about this family than I, so please let me know your thoughts.
