Hi Fred, I have found your post from eons ago. When Timothy O'Hehir died in WA in 1909 a newspaper article stated his sister Mary Beard as being a chief mourner. My GGgrandmother was Mary Beard, previously Biddle and born O'Hehir from Limerick so I am presuming they are the same person. Yesterday I went into the state records office to look up Mary Beard's letters of administration and as a lovely surprise they included a death certificate. This info given by David Biddle, one of Mary's sons states that her parents were Timothy O'heir (their spelling) a farmer and Catharine Hartigan born in Limerick. A death notice for Timothy in WA said he was from Limerick City, in his 48th year and late of Ballarat and Richmond Vic - sounds like the same one. I have seen where Timothy's father was the same but the mother different name - possible that Mary's mother died and their father remarried I suppose. Happy hunting, Jenni
