JAMES A. HEDDEN September 6, 1975

James A. Hedden 65 of Pine Bluff died Thursday at
Jefferson Hospital. He was a retired ax handle sawyer.
He was a former resident of Morton, near McCrory.
Survivors include a son, James Phillip Hedden of
Pine Pine, three daughters, Mrs. Muriel Kennedy of
Grady, Mrs. W. C. Burnett of Fayetteville; and Mrs.
Ralph Oldham of Jacksonville; two brothers, Randall
Hedden of Oregon and U. S. Hedden of North Little
Rock; five sisters, Mrs. D. A. Pace of Hot Springs,
Mrs. Henry Stokes and Mrs. Olive Chancellor of IN,
Mrs. Ralph Peninger of Michigan and Mrs. Loyce Jones
of Morton; nine grandchildren and 3
great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at
Thompson-Wilson Funeral Home at McCrory. Burial will
be in White Hall Cememtery at Hillman, near McCrory.

Mrs. HELEN L. ( lindsey ) Hedden, 60, of 620 W. Second Ave,
died Sunday at Jefferson Hospital.
She was a native of Evansville, IN and a member of
the Church of Christ.
Survivors include a son, Phillip James Hedden of
Pine Bluff; three daughters, Mrs. Ralph Oldham of
Jacksonville, Mrs. Murl Kennedy of Gould and Mrs.
Walter Burnett of Fayetteville; a brother, T. J.
Lindsey of CA; nine grandchildren and two great-
grandchildren.
Funeral services were today at Essex Funeral Home
at DeWitt. Burial was in DeWitt Cemetery.

(8) John B. Sieber, born December 23, 1876 in Hunter, AR, married April 2, 1925 in woodruff co., AR,
Helen Atolla Crowe Heddon. She was born September 19, 1888 in Kentucky.
They farmed near Hunter. They had two children; (8-1) Bertha Sieber and
(8-2) John Benjamin "J. B." Sieber, born October 29, 1927 in Hunter and died April 8, 1980
in woodruff co., AR and is buried in Whitehall Cemetery, woodruff co., AR.
Atolla's two children by a first marriage were also a part of this household. John B. Sieber
died January 23, 1941 at Hunter and is buried in the Hunter Cemetery. Helen Atolla Sieber
died October 16, 1953 and is buried in Whitehall Cemetery, woodruff co., AR.

Hardin Crowe
Mr. Hardin Crowe, age 83, of Palestine, died Tuesday, June 19, 2001, at the Methodist Central Hospital in Memphis.
Mr. Crowe was born Aug. 14, 1917 in Kentucky and was the son of Samuel Crowe and Attola Hedden Crowe. He lived in St. Francis County most of his life and was a retired timberman.
Mr. Crowe is survived by one sister, Beatrice Halbert of Palestine and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Mr. Crowe will be held Wednesday, June 20, 2001, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home. Funeral services for Mr. Crowe will be held graveside Thursday, June 21, 2001, at 10:30 a.m., at the White Hall Cemetery in Hillman Arkansas with Stevens Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
