Looking for any information on Marie Hebert, first husband Joseph Poier second Francious Guenveur Dooscese og Greguier

I'm descended from this family, too....Francois Guenveur was my ggggf. I'm descended from John Maurice Guenveur and Marie Hebert through their son Sully Francis Augustus. While researching this family online I discovered quite by chance that Marie Hebert is from an early Acadian family...the first settlers of Canada. They left with all the others that were driven out by the Brits and moved first to MA, then went back to France where she married Guenveur before going to St. Domingo. I'll have to track down my notes and send you the link where I got this information. The people who had the info on their web site were interrested in the Heberts, and knew nothing of the Guenveurs except for the marriage record. I'm happy to trade info with you, too...there aren't too many of us from this family!

I have just discovered that two of your names are in my family. I have a John A. Lalane coming from St.Domingo to New York where he had John A. Jr. and Peter Boutain Lalane. They all moved to Charleston, S.C. where I believe Peter married a Juliette Gueveneur. So far I do not know the name of John A. Sr.'s wife. I hope you are still reading your posts as I would love to get more info.
