I am searching for a death and/or burial date for my great-great grandmother--Francoise Elosie Hebert. She was the daughter of Victor Hebert and Marie Odile Chapoton.
She was married first to Adam Evariste Champagne son of Evariste Champagne and Calixte Schexnayder on 12-2-1857 and second to Mathurine Theophile Dutreix on 5-4-1875 Resident of St. James Parish and later St. John the Baptist Parish, LA. Have been unable to find a record of her death and/or burial. Her first husband is buried in St. John the Baptist Church Cemetery in Edgard, St. John the Baptist Parish, LA.

I also am searching for death date for Francoise Elodie, as well as that of her first husband, Adam Evariste Champagne. Have you had any luck finding her? I have just returned from Baton Rouge where I looked in the archives as well as the EBR Library and could find no records. Elodie was my husband's great grandmother and her death date would plug in one of our "holes".
